Getting Organized

Today I've been sacked out on the couch sick as a dog. So I've decided to use my time wisely and get all our blogs organized. I've combined our private family blog that I haven't updated in over a year, with our Mexico Adoption blog. Then, this new blog will include our new journey to Colombia for adoption. I've moved them all into this new blog because, as we've all seen, I can barely keep up with 1 blog, much less three!

I'm adding a few posts full of updates and pictures over the past year, so things will be QUITE out of order for a little bit.

I have had a few people that are in the Mexico adoption process try to contact me. They've left a comment but for some reason I can't see their profile or email so I can send a note back. So I've updated my  sidebar with my email address for people who want to contact me and chat about adoption related issues, or anything really! I LOVE talking about the adoption. Just ask my "in real life" friends who are sick of hearing me drone on. In fact they'd probably appreciate me having someone new to use up my daily word count on! LOL!

Also, in case you have been searching for Mexico Adoption Blogs and have found my other blog that says all the same things as this one, there is a reason. And, no, I'm not schizophrenic!

Our agency asked if I could list my blog on their website for other people who are going through the process. But, I can't have any fundraising information on that blog in case someone in Mexico who is part of the adoption process would get the wrong idea that we couldn't financially provide for the children we are adopting. So, in order to help them out, I set up another more basic blog for people to see that is  attached to the Gladney website.  Got it?

Ok, a poll then...

I don't want to blind my readers, so I'll give you all a choice.

Option 1: Black background with white text (not sure of a contrasting color...)
Option 2: The green and purple (matching the flower picture that I really wish I could figure out how to make as my header background)
Option 3: Your choice!!!
Option 4: Back to the RED!!!
Option 5: Pick a new template and just redo the whole thing!

Sorry everyone for the color explosion. I'm bored just sitting on the couch and thought my blog could use some Christmas color.....

3 Columns!!!

ilyI did it! I did it! (Picture me doing the butter churn!) I made my blog 3 columns!!!! But I had to change the template to something simpler than what I had. If you want to do it too, then go to the website on my sidebar on Blog Tips. Scroll down her sidebar till you get to the link on 3 columns!
It wasn't hard to do, just really nerve-wracking. Don't forget to SAVE your original blog! Follow all her instructions to a tee. Then preview before saving. I did it in Mozilla so I could flip easily between sites!
